I watch a whole lot of videos of dogs doing tricks. This just might be my favorite one so far. :) Pretty funny, huh? Did anyone notice any training mistakes that Ralph's owner made? You can tell me in the comments section below!

OK Go is a favorite band of mine, and they always have creative music videos. Their newest video was just released, and stars a group of canine buddies. If you've been watching the other Doggie Dancing videos on this blog, you might recognize a few of the moves. Huskies are really good at imitating human voices. When I was a kid, my aunt had a dog named "Chica" who could say "Please," "Thank You" and "I Love You." This Husky, Mishka, demonstrates how she can say "I Love You" just like Chica used to. Weave Poles really show off the "agility" of dog agility. This slow motion video demonstrates just how impressive this obstacle is. This trainer is coming up with a new freestyle routine to do with two dogs. If you have two dogs at home, this video might give you some ideas for some "Tricks for Two." Here is a dog learning how to Crawl using the "Touch" command. Here's a Jack Russell Terrier with a great Army Crawl. Tomorrow, I'll post a lesson on how to teach it to your own dog. Leslie Nelson from Tails U Win in Connecticut is one of my dog training heroes. She was one of the first trainers to use positive reinforcement for competition obedience. In this video, her Poodle, Lola shows off how helpful she can be around the house. **Please note, Leslie has admitted to being a better dog trainer than video editor - the actual video is about a minute and a half long, the rest is just a blank screen. ** We've been having some hot days this week. Check out this fun way some dogs like to cool off! |
